Are you looking for a new stimulating way to sustain the Italian of your bilingual children?

Il Girotondo, the first Italian playgroup for bilingual Italian-speaking children in Cambridge, organizes a theatre weekend for children and their parents: a children?s theatre workshop for four to twelve-years-old and a play open to all. The events will be in Italian and will be held by an enthusiastic engaging teacher and performer, Manuela Chiaffi.

9 JULY 2011

14:00-16:00: Ross Street Community Centre - Theatre workshop;
16:30: Ross Street Playground - Tea party with Manuela who will tell beautiful and enchanting children stories.

10 JULY 2011
14:00-15:00: St. Andrew's Hall - Theatre workshop;
15:30: St. Andrew's Hall - Play: "Rumorino e Mago Silenzio" by and with Manuela Chiaffi.

The workshop will be an interactive theatre learning experience that lets the children have a lot of fun speaking Italian and hearing the language from a native-speaker. The activities will focus on developing physical and performance skills and on fantasy play.
