I've posted before but last night my 21 month old ds said potty after getting out of the bath (just had his pyjama top on and a bare bum) so I said 'go on then' and he went and sat on it and did a wee. He didn't ask this morning but I said to him to try and he did a wee again today. Do I need to wait for any more signs to start training him? I'm aware this is a nightmare time of year to be doing it plus I have a nearly 3 month old to contend with at the same time.. Any advice plus on pull-ups or pants - I'm a bit scared of going straight to pants? Thanks

Hi Em32 just wondering how your ds is doing with the potty training. My dd 22 months did the same sort of thing yesterday got out of bed wanted to sit on the toilet did a wee so I thought I'd follow her lead. (not easy with a 7week old) left her with nothing on her bottom half all the time we were at home she had a couple of accidents but also did a couple of wee's on the potty. Agree on time of year etc. How are you doing with the pants vs pull ups? would also appreciate advice from anyone else on the matter. also when do you start to take them out of the house with pants etc on?
