My son has been Diagnosed with ASD and though the process i've determind im probabally Asperger's myself.

I'd like a proffesional opinion on the matter so who would i see about it? I know it's not really going to mean anything i just feel like it would explain alot of things in my life and would give me a sence of closure and perhaps help me understand why i am what i am.

It depends whereabouts you live. For example, if you live in Cambridgeshire, there is a centre of expertise in Cambridge here, and you can get a NHS referral by going to your GP (assuming he/she is sympathetic to your needs). This is what I did. The alternative is to pay for a diagnosis, but this can cost in the region of £500 or more.

I can recommend the website www.wrongplanet.net, for help and support as you explore this.
