Do sure start centres still offer free child safety gates?

Hi I live close to the heathfields childrens centre and in real need of a childs safety gate, I am on low income. I know that they used to offer them but with all of budget cuts i'm not sure if the still offer them.

unlikely- but you could ask? why not put up a wanted ad at the childrens centre and see if any one offers you a 2nd hand one.

Try Freecycle for free ones or FridayAd for cheap ones. I got mine at a boot fair for a fiver.

maybe it was specific to your local centre, It has never been to my knowledge a project wide initiative.
