Evil Aunt Flo - coping tips from fellow sufferers?

Hi all, I have had a dreadful weekend and need advice from others in the same boat! I have primary dysmenorrhea (think very painful AF with prescription painkillers, going faint and dizzy, problems driving etc) and find it very hard to look after DS for the worst 2 days. I have to take the pill and control the timing of them for weekends otherwise I'd be out of a job. DH is usually very supportive, but he is working lots of hours at the moment and has been working all weekend. I'm finding it hard to occupy DS, 4.5 as I'm in pain and he is ending up watching TV and bored. He is lovely and knows I have a 'Mummy tummy ache', but it's just not fair on him! It's hard to take him out as my driving is iffy, and visiting friends is hard as I feel dizzy and spaced out so we end up staying in.

Do any fellow sufferers have any tips for keeping DC occupied when you're suffering?
