Ok so bare with me...

Being a First time mum with a 4 month old and an impending exam ( yep crazy I know !! ) and poor sleep ( mY LO has suddenly increased his night time ' awakenings' to maybe 4 times!!).... i was wondering what people found useful/ worked to keep their ' energy' levels up?

apart from sleep.....:)

Chocolate

I cannot get myself going in the mornings without a "complan" (chocolate flavour)

DH has learnt this and is well trained enough to bring me one before I get up unless I'm useless!

Brisk walk doing your first outside chore of the day ( whatever that is). Decide what you are going to do when you get back home and then not getting distracted. Great advice, but still don't manage it myself.... :o

Morning sunshine. Not sure how to arrange this regularly though!

sittinginthesun · 24/05/2011 18:15

Going outside. Sitting down is the worst thing to do...

At that stage was doing something - generally long walks to force ds to sleep - (socialising too depressing as ds screamed constantly) and lots of coffee and chocolate.

If your not bf, pro-plus is fab.

Going into my favourite coffee shop and having a large latte, it always perks me up and makes me feel like I'm doing something just for me even if I have the kids with me.
