Alternative names for a little boys 'bits'

I am wondering what to call my DS's privates. I know some people call them 'chucky's' but I don't really like that.

What do you call it when you are talking to your DS?

Ds1 uses penis/testicles, willy or peanuts. For a long while his scrotum was his 'screwton' because he ahdn't quite heard properly.

Not sure where chucky came from but lots of friends were brought up calling it that.

always thought i'd use penis for my two boys but have adopted willy which just sounds a bit more lighthearted. my retired head teacher mum makes damn sure they both know its proper name is penis though!

Erm, penis. DS sometimes says willy. Why not use the correct word?

Ds 5 calls his his peanuts, from talking to his 7 year old friend who believes that it is indeed called that. We have always called it his willy, but he much prefers peanuts and giggles hysterically every time the conversation involves the word.

Willy and balls here. Loving the 'privacy', very Victorian!

Another vote for willy because it was easier to say when younger but ds 5 knows that the "proper" name is penis - still insists on calling it peanuts though (quite relieved to hear others say the same!!)

I agree with allsquare, we use the nicknames but are not scared to use the correct name either... :)

We have always used "willy" and "balls" in this house full of boys. Easy to pronounce and straightforward. Also you don't need to teach him a more age appropriate word later.

same as everyone else, use nicknames but also knows correct names and then after watching Kung Fu Panda ds called them tenders for a while
