Coping with looking after lil one after MMR

My dd has seemed to get every possible side effect, shes constantly screaming in pain. Iv taken her to the doctors and they say its 'normal' im giving her calpol/nurofen, but other then that theres lil i can do to compfort her. I hate seeing her like this, cant wait till shes better!! Has any1 else had this prob, it feels like im the only one after speaking to other mums.

your poor dd....how long since she had the jab? I'm sure it will subside but for now I guess the calpol etc is the way to go. Keep an eye out for weird allergic type reactions though, my friend's dd whole face and head swelled up till she was unrecognisable about a week after she had the MMR. Sorry if that souds alarming - but she was fine. Good luck.

Hi donnie, my lil one has a rash over her front and back but it has calmed down thank god, the doc says its normal. She had it on Fri so 5days ago. Im just finding it so hard trying to comfort her, its making me feel really bad thanks for advise x
