7mo ds will not take food from DH

Pleass help! Our 7mo ds can be tricky to feed at the best of times, but is getting better from being poorly and cries when offered food by his Dad, but will happily take from me. Obviously this is very hurtful for dh! What can we do?

Can he sit and have finger foods with DH, so they can just sit and eat together?

I could try that tonight. He never eats loads of finger foods anyway. I'm just so worried we're messing up the whole feeding thing... I don't know if it's right for me to maybe offer him milk, dh to offer solids and then if ds refuses then just take him out of the situation and do something else?
