Hi all,

My poor little 7mo old DS is really suffering with his teething at the min and seems to be in a lot of discomfort. However, just to top in off he has now developed a cold (poss teething cold?) and also a bad cough. I've given him some Benilyn cough medicine - but nothing for his teeth as am not sure if he can have nurofen at the same time as the Benilyn? The Benilyn bottle doesn't say anything about giving any other medicine at the same time.

Nurofen and the little powder sachets are the only things that help relieve his sore gums but also dont want to leave the cough untreated! Argh! Help! He's just so upset all day long.... Sad

Cheers in advance.x

Yes as long as it doesn't have ibruprofen in it. You can give calpol and Nurofen together, I used to do calpol then 2 hours later neurofen. Another 2 hours Calpol again IYSWIM.
