children will be 5, girls and boys. will need 30 bags so nothing too pricey!

Am sitting here and have just finished filling party bags for DD2 fifth birthday party on Sunday.

They have got a pencil, mini note book, tiny pack of colouring pencils, a party mask, punch ball/balloon thing and a packet of mini sweets. And will get a piece of cake added on the day.

I wanted to do something different like flowerpots but DD2 pleaded with me for party bags. They are her favourite thing!

I have a friend who doesn't do party bags per se. She gets each child one thing related to the theme of the party. One year they went to the aquarium and every child got a fishing net. One year it was laser quest and they all got a water pistol.

That's a nice idea Sandstorm. I would much prefer that to an actual bag.
