Strangers Picking Up Your Baby/Toddler

DS2 is 13 months. Today, at the London Aquarium, he pushed his way to the ray-petting tank, under the feet of an older man. Who then picked him up and held him for a while, so he could dangle his hands in the water!

I was fine with this, as DS2 was fine with it. And he's heavy! I was tired of holding him. How would other mums have felt?

Think I would be ok with it, it was a crowded place, and you were nearby - not like you left him.

I'd be happy too. I often help little ones if they're nearby.
