Will be working through the night....

Arghhh these damn bank holidays have really messed up my time to work as dd only has nursery slots on Monday, Tuesday and Fridays! Dh is working today and tomorrow and I have a transfer report for my phd that I need to complete and email across tomorrow.... I need to do quite a bit of work on it and have no choice to work until the early hours.... I may need some encouragement, support and tips to keep going!

I will be starting work at 9pm ish once dd and ds are in bed and will work through until 2 or 3... Dh will be home from work at 10ish so I need to ignore him!

Tomorrow will be hard as dd wakes for a feed around 3am and then is usually up at about 6:30 which is the time dh gets up to go to work too... So about 3 hours kip! Arghhhh

No tips as such, except can you be doing any rough notes on scrap paper while DD and DS are up? I often find questions or useful thoughts pop into my head while playing games with the kiddies that need further work later in the evening post bedtime! Otherwise, once they are in bed, get a coffee and a bite to eat then focus. Remind yourself that this is only one evening of poor sleep etc and things will be back to normal in a day or two. Thanks, luckily I had managed to get a very basic draft to one of my supervisors on Friday and she has sent through some good pointers today but also outlined what I have to include on top of what I have done including justification for thematic analysis, more background an a schedule of when each of my draft chapters of the thesis will be submitted to the supervisory team! Just sent ds to bed and dd seems to be sleeping well (hope i haven't jinxed that!) so am having a very quick dip in the bath and then coffee on!

Well it's 2:15am and I have just emailed off the draft! I just have one paragraph to write and send on tomorrow but the other 32 pages seem to be done! Hope it's ok!!!

Thanks, I got 3.5 hours! Dd decided to wake at 6! But I dont feel too bad today..... Got some more to do tonight though...
