Not sure if I'm over reacting!

Hi,
I am suffering with PMT so I can't work out if this should bother me as much as it does!
We were at a street party today (me, DH, DD1 and DD2), there were about 200 people of which we had previously met about 7-10. The street was closed to cars, although the street at the end of ours was open to cars. This road is reasonably quiet although still in a major city.
I popped home with DD2 to get her dinner and left DH with DD. When I got back about 10mins later I saw DH engrossed in conversation. I asked him wher DD1 was- he said on the bouncy castle (about 20m from where he was standing but with no view onto it). She wasn't there and he had no idea where she was!! DD is just 3. We found her after a few minutes of -(panic!!)- looking wondering around. What upsets me most is that if I hadn't turned up at that point DD1 may have got completely lost!

What do you think? Am I being hormonal or would this bother you too?
Thanks.
Off to get a large glass of wine!!

no it would bother me a lot!
Thought you were going to say she was 7/8, at 3 she should be in sight almost all of the time IMO

If he couldn't see where she was, then that was very lax

She is 3 years old

I don't think you're overreacting at all. 3 year olds can easily wonder off and get lost esp as there weren't many epople around who know her.

Your DH was def BU - does he think he was right ?

Thanks for the quick replies! Glad to know i'm not just being hormonal. My DH is a lovely guy but I find it really difficult that he isn't more 'with it'. He doesn't think he was right but he doesn't really seem that bothered. It just makes me feel worried that it might happen again :(
