Do I have enough nappies?

I have been given;

3 newborn wraps (7-10lbs)
3 small wraps (8-15lbs)
4 medium wraps (no weight suggestion)
11 prefold nappies (small)
10 pocket nappies (10-22lbs)
3 nappy nippas
Some newborn disposables just in case we don't get the hang of reuseables straight away.
Need to buy some muslins, washable wipes and nappy liners...

Is this enough or do you think I need to increase quantities anywhere?

Many thanks for any suggestions

I don't really know about the prefold and pocket nappy business so I can't tell if those are interchangeable with the wraps you have. I had 18 terries and 6 wraps to go over them, and 3 nippas to start with. I bought another 6 terries because some days DS's nappy was changed 12 times a day! He was BF though and they poo more.

We figured 24 ish of one size... as it could get us through 2 days comfortably (which basically meant washing a load of nappies every other day -added the soiled baby clothes/muslins in there and I had a full load every time). By about 6 months I could almost get through 3 days with 24 nappies... by 9 months it was about 3 or 4 days...
You need more innards than wraps (unless they're the pocket wraps) as if it's just wee you only need to change every other time -or at least this is the way we did it- as long as there wasn't tons of wee...

I'd also suggest getting 2 wet bags, one for in the nappy bag and one to replace it when you bring home a set of wet/dirty things.

For just one in nappies I had 15 nappies (one sized, birth to potty) and 4 wraps in size small to begin with and found it plenty. So with 10 pockets and your prefolds and 3 wraps in the smaller sizes I think you'll have plenty. The only problem you might have is that if you have a small/skinny baby they might be too small for the pockets straight away. Mine fitted pockets from being about 9lbs, once their little thighs had fattened up a bit. If that's the case, you will need to wash fairly often to manage on just the 11 prefolds, but they'd soon fit the pockets.

For nappy liners just buy a fleece blanket and cut it up to fit within your nappies, it works out much cheaper. I don't know what others do but I haven't used paper liners with mine when they were very small, only once they got older.
