My brother died several years ago and since she's in the US I don't really see her very much and so don't know her very well. Any help ideas at all would be brill. She's not sporty, but is a total tween and is quite "crafty" ie making things not Angelica-Rugrat like! Budget is somewhere between £15 and £30 and ideally not gigantic/bulky because of post.

Please help!

Why not buy one of the US craft sets from the US qvc site and have it delivered directly to her?

Brilliant Idea Soapbox, thanks so much. Could even get it delievered to her mum and persuade her to wrap it for me! Great, will go and look now if I can.

I used to live in the US - you could order off any number of online sites based in the US and get it delivered to your Niece - Walmart, ToysRUs, Amazon (who also sell toys etc in the US), they are big into on-line over there so you should find plenty of choice - I was trying to think of something you could get her that they would not be able to buy in the US but it's quite hard as they sell most things!
