Hi,
Just been on the phone to my college tutor about something on my course, then during covo, remembered that he is the faculty head of forensic science at my college and got talking about forensic courses. Mentioned that I "knew" someone who was interested in forensic course at cov uni and about only 20 places, blah, blah, blah. Any way he mentioned an area of nursing called 'Forensic Nursing' which is (he thinks) possibly either mental health branch or adult branch with specialisation, basicall, its an area of nursing that deals with working in police stations etc with victims of rape/sexual assault/ other assaults , work with probation officers and in prisons etc. I have had a google and there isnt really much info on it, a few bits here and there but its quite a big role in the USA so it may have more info on american sites.
just thought id let you know as i saw you were interested in working with the police, plus it looks like an interesting area of nursing to work in.
not exactly CSI but its a start!
