i have just run out of nappies (thats what happens when i am out all the time) and have just put them onto wash. i have a couple of terries but have no idea of how to fold them. i have nippas and a wool wrap ready. dd3 is small for her age (weighs 15lb 10oz) and this will only be for today.

There's a really cool folding method which I'll try to describe, but it might be hard in words.

Fold nappy in half, then in half again.
Get hold of one thickness at the open corner and peel it outwards slowly until you have a triangle sitting on top of the square.
Turn the whole arrangement over without disturbing the shape.
Fold the square bit twice, inwards, so you have a rectangular pad over the triangle.

If that's too hard do the 'kite'.
Lie the nappy flat in a diamond shape, fold in two sides so they meet in the middle then fold the top triangle over so you get a kite shape.

This second one is a bit bulky, but better for bigger babies.

The nappy lady site has a load of different ways to fold too.

Jo Fold from Nappy Lady site is excellent. Still use it on my 16.5 lb ds2. Put ME Airflow wrap over the top.
