Ok, thinking about no. 2. What advice/tips do you have on making life as easy as possible?

I'm thinking sleep, outings, feeding, (loose) routines etc. No. 1 will be 3 yrs +

I have two, with 16 months between them. A routine has made life easier, though we accepted that we were limited in the first few months whilst we established the routine. It was worth it though, I can now rely on the routine, naps are predictable and I can work around them, both still sleep in the day.

Breastfeeding was harder the second time because the older one still needs looking after and entertaining, though you might find that easier than I did maybe with a 3yr old more independent than a 16mo. We managed though and its been fun!

Get a sling - you can have your hands free while little one is feeding / sleeping / just being.

If your older one is 3+, enjoy your allocated nursery hours!

Going to the park a lot

Just whatever gets you through the first few months and don't feel bad!
