Missed an OU deadline

Has anybody missed an OU deadline - level 2 - without a previously agreed extension. Deadline was yesterday and I intend submitting today but don't know whether it will be marked. Should I contact my tutor and fess up or bury my hand in the sand for a bit longer?

Some tutors are more lenient than others. It might depend on whether you've previously submitted on time and/or whether you have a reasonable excuse. If the tutor has had lots students who have missed deadlines without agreement he/she may be less forgiving.

Luckily it was marked as I got my best mark yet for this module - must make sure I am not in the same position next time though as I can always find an excuse not to write TMAs!
