DSs age 11 & 8 are just constantly fighting... driving me mad...

It's the holidays... yes, we all get on each others nerves, but the red mist is really descending for me with the DSs.

I have tried to keep them busy/outside. We have been places, had friends round, they have been to kids camps/tennis/cricket etc etc

but I can't afford to be out of the house every day, and I have things that I need to do at home, but the minute they are here together they are at each other's throats, and it's driving me mad Sad

DS2 can be whingey and a pain, but DS1 is just constantly winding him up for fun... a kick here and there, hiding his things, and then putting on his 'it wasn't me' face. meanwhile DS2 is screaming about every last thing and whingeing 'he did this/that/ the other'.

We came in this afternoon, and within minutes I'd chucked them in the garden, and then almost immediately they were screaming and wrestling on the trampoline, and DS2 was saying he's been hurt. (They never seem to bounce on the trampoline.. just roll around kicking and wrestling each other Hmm)

I have just shouted at them and sent them to separate rooms.

How do you handle constant scrapping/niggling/ being horrible to each other? Sad

I wish I had an answer. My dds are 10 and 11 and similar, but slightly less physical with the fighting.

I do all the things you do (anywhere outside is better, even the park). I have lots of sympathy for you, and will be watching here for any ideas....

Thats siblings I think. I remember being like that with my brother for years. We get on great now then and are best friends. Its annoying for you but I think its what most siblings go through, and it wont last forever
