What has been some of the best advice you've ever received from other mums? What's been the worst?

OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

worst: being told that the pain of BF (had very sore cracked nipples) was nothing and to feed through it.

best: it's possible to mix feed. Once I mix fed for a few days I healed up and was able to go back to BF full time painlessly.

Best: log on to MN
Worst: log on to MN (am quite new and spending obsessive amounts of work time keeping up with it all!)

Best: only fight battles if they are worth fighting for, otherwise take path of least resistance.

Worst: Invest in the sangenic nappy wrapper - hated it, what a waste of money.
