How long would you give it before you swapped subjects?

I'm really not enjoying my current specialism. How long do you think it takes to get a true picture of a subject, would you bare with it for a while longer or follow instinct and change as soon as possible.

I've spent a week cutting pictures out of magazines, one minute i feel like i've been sectioned and the next as if i'm learning to make threatening letters from prison.

The thing is others are coming up with fantastic imagery and i am making shite. I'm hoping it will "click" but what if it doesn't?

are you douing art foundation or a degree? or neither?

Smurfgirl · 03/11/2005 12:47

I changed my first degree after 2 weeks. I just knew.

It took me about a month to decide I wanted to be a nurse (change of life plan, bit different but...)

I went to uni to do Geography and changed to Physiology/Pharmacology in freshers week after the introductory talk on the Geog degree

Never regretted it!
