This has been 'recommended' to me at my DS's two and a half year check. Not entirely sure how to take this!
DS can be a little wilful, which I was honest about, but developing normally and comes from a happy home. She assured me it was full of "middle class mums wanting to better their already well-educated discipline strategies" but none of my friends have been offered it... Thoughts please!

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

My HV runs 4 x 2 hr sessions for the mums of rising 2s.

All very informal - was in Surestart Stay and Play room and Surestart put on a creche.

Week 1- Potty training, then she supported anyone who chose to start then through the next few weeks. We did not, DS was too young then.
Week 2 - Behaviourial issues and discipline
Week 3 - Diet I think
Week 4 - Safety
Over the 4 week we talked about all sorts of things, schools, shoes, speech development, social skills, all sorts...

I found it very worthwhile. But I am "a middle class mum wanting to better my already well educated strategies".
