hi,
I'm looking for a baby signing dvd, which one would you recommend?

We loved the 'sing and sign' ones, there are two. My son was captivated by them and still likes them now (he's nearly 3). I don't know how she did it but she got something right.

Sing and sign are good.dd who communicates solely through Makaton loves the Something Special DVD's too.The Makaton website may be helpful also:)

Oh yes, my ds loves something special too although the vocabulary is a bit more ecletic depending on the DVD you get!

Makaton is a simplified sign language developed for people with learning difficulties. It is based on BSL but the signs are simplified and are very intuitive. Lots of the signs in baby signing at the same as the Makaton ones. I used Makaton and BSL dictionaries to look up new signs when we were doing baby signing. ITV.com used to have a good baby signing dictionary.
