6yo anxious about death, not sure how to reassure him

My 6yo has just come out of his bed to tell me he'd had bad thoughts about a group of children who thought I was a thief, so attacked me with knives and killed me. ("Bad thoughts" as opposed to a dream, he was in bed but not yet asleep).

He then went on to ask how old I will be when I die, which is something he's been asking a lot lately. I keep answering that most people get really really old before they die - and then he lists all the ancient people he knows who are still alive, which seems to cheer him up - but I'm aware that this isn't really satisfactory.

Can anyone recommend a book to help address the issue of life and death? Or do you have any suggestions on how to handle it? He's quite sensitive anyway, prone to worry, and I want to help him!
