Suggestions for TV programmes for 5 year old girly girl??

My daughter seems to be growing out of her previous favourite TV progs eg Charlie and Lola, Numberjacks, Peppa Pig but I don't know what to move her on to. She and her younger sister watch mostly Cbeebies with the odd prog from Nick Jnr. I was looking at CBBC but that all looks much too old for her, but Cbeebies is seeming too young - aimed at pre-school kids. She is very girly - like princesses and fairies etc and quite innocent and easily scared. She recently started asking for Grandpa in my pocket so maybe should be looking for something with 'real people' in instead of animation... Any suggestions?
Cheers
Vicki

DVDs instead of TV.
Believe it or not, the Barbie DVDs are not bad at all. And very princessy. And the Tinkerbell ones. And no adds!

DD1 is nine, only now wanting to see programs with 'real people'. DD2 is seven and still prefers animation. However both like factual programs like Backyard Science. But not any of the tween drama stuff like Hannah Montana...

My DD2 is 4. She likes Ben and Holly, Granpa in my Pocket, Little Bear, Horrid Henry, Backyardigans, Balamory...

dVDs she likes are Nanny McPhee, Barbie ones, most Disney and all the Star War films Confused Shock
