Got my BA Hons degree way way back in 1999 in History.

Since then have been full time SAHM.

Want to get into teaching at Secondary level but in a shortage subject as I have no chance of getting a job teaching History nowadays.

Am considering Physics as am crap at maths, so I need to do a conversion course then a PGCE, yes?

A) cannot find anywhere that does conversion courses
B) what funding is available in form of grants as I do not want to get into all the loans stuff

Can anyone offer any advice please?

Hi

I am not sure where you are but if you google Physics or Subject Enhancement Course you will be able to find universities that offer them.

You need to apply and have a place on an ITT course before being accepted for the enhancement course.

There is also some information on the TDA website
