hi,

Dsd is coming to live with us and initially she'll have dd's room and dd will be in with us, however we are thinking of sometime moving but when we do the question of who gets the biggest rooms will come up so I wanted to ask what would you do?

There would be us, dsd (16), ds (11) and dd(16 months).....

That is awkward. Often the eldest gets the biggest room but IMO actually the older kids get, the less space they need as they sit on their beds watching tv, on their phones etc and the younger ones are the ones with the bulkier toys.

Could you discuss it as a family or draw straws?

Reddaisy that is exactly what i think, at least if the younger ones have the bigger rooms you can dump all their toys up there!

I would do some sort of bribe - ie if you have the smaller room you get a tv, the bigger room has no tv, then let them choose, eldest chooses first.
