patience and tma results

tis bad enough writing the blooming things but submitted my last one on the 2nd March cos cut off date was the 3rd. But no sign of a mark back. Last one took three days to get back. If it was really bad my tutor would have emailed me surely

Remember that tutors may have upto 25 TMAs to mark and if I remember correctly, they have about 2 weeks to do it. When I was a tutor I tried to get the marking done asap but it wasn't always possible to do each script straightaway as I had a full time job as well. OU tutors are not employed full time.

i still havent got the results for my ema submitted in december....

do they take longer or what?

As well as being a student I also work part time as Uni admin. We have a time-line of when the assessments are due in, when the marked scripts should be returned to us, and when we get them back to the students. Although this is not made clear to the students, they are aware that marked work should be returned within 28 days of submission.
However - same Uni, different school - I am a student and awaiting an essay back from January. I am only on a course of 4 people, my email to the module lead has been ignored, I think it is time I raise my issues with the course lead, it is making me VERY paranoid about the quality of my work.

My TMA's always take about 3 weeks to come back on my current course. Other courses I have had them back after about 10 days but never soon. Some people are very lucky though and if they submit early it is waiting for them at 12:01 after deadline

Finding waiting for TMA results soooooo painful, and always struggle to motivate myself to move on to the next one until it is back
