My DS is nearly three weeks old and does not sleep much through the day (unless he is out in his pram). How many hours are newborns supposed to sleep? Thanks

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

I don't think that there's a right answer to that!

They sleep as much as they sleep. This used to really annoy me, as how was I to know if dd was sleeping / eating enough? But you learn to just go with it.

Eventually you ds will start sleeping more at night and less in the day, give it time. Smile

Does that mean he is sleeping more at night? Lucky you! I have heard 16 hours a day is how much the average newborn sleeps. But how do you know if your child is average?
