Not something I like seeing in older children, but I'm sure there's a reason for it.

And if there isn't a reason for it then it doesn't matter to me. It's not my child.

Can't be good for speech development though surely? Or teeth for that matter!

Just googled and got some pictures from the sun, mum doesn't look very happy does she?

Mum's probably not very happy because every time she sets foot outside with her DD they're surrounded by paparazzi Angry. Might also explain why Suri feels the need for the comfort of a dummy.

It wasn't a criticism. I do feel sorry for them, can't be the easiest life to lead.

You may well be right about the reasoning for the dummy also.
