Terrabella I try not to mix alcohol and children as I am terrified of what the affect may be (hoping it is more of the 'benign' way but I suspect not Wink)

Sopster I also seem to spend a lot of time shouting 'STOP TORMENTING YOUR BROTHER' to my 4 year old and 'STOP TELLING TALES ON YOUR BROTHER' to my 2 year old Grin Also, 'STOP WHINGING FOR GODS SAKE' to my 2 year old is a regular feature of our days as he can whinge for England!!! He has developed a method of just repeating the same sentence over and over and over and over (and so on) again until we cave in...he doesn't change his tone or anything, just repeat, repeat, repeat etc in a really monotonous way!!

I had envisioned a quick exit to Mexico in a small hatchback but am now looking into a coach given there appear to be so many unfit mothers out there. All hell bent on ruining their best efforts in those early days of keeping tiny pots of sudocream safe and cleaning their huge sore orifices with toothbrushes. I say shouting, tight lipped psychological torment and being blind drunk is all a mothers right and character building to boot. Who here has met an interesting person who hasn't been subjected to shoddy parenting?

I know Pancake and Waffle will thank me for it one day when they wish to write their memoirs and they have plenty of juicy anecdotes on how mother was a tyrannical obsessive insisting they stop licking the dog and stamping on their sisters.

We may need to buy the boooze when we get there or else I forsee trouble at customs, also if anyone has one of those car top box thingies we may have to stick the loose men in that.

Can I come too?
I am shouting a lot more now that DH is temporarily away and I am temporarily a single mum (he is in the US sorting out MIL's estate and attending memorial service so DCs on edge as they have lost granny and now daddy is not here either...)
Actually, can I take DCs with me to Mexico, I just know they'll be ecstatic and so well behaved on the beach and it isn't that far from daddy either.
