Hello there,

After years of procrastinating, I finally applied to Northampton Uni for Int Devpt course and I am looking to start in Sept 2011.

I just wanted to find out if anyone is studying and how they are getting on?

I have a 7yo DS and 4 yo DD but we were TTC for third and final baby - no luck in the last year so I decided to go for it anyway!

Hi Oli - I'm studying with the OU and considering doing International Studies rather than te History I was originally going for. I have a degree in Medicine and used to work for a small NGO involved in international development. What's your background and what do you plan to do after your degree?

Kate,

I have about 8 years insurance industry but I have always wanted to work for NGOs after seeing the work they do. I am originally from Zimbabwe.

I wanted to do it via OU as well but as I am not working, I thought doing it full time would be better and quicker. I start in Sept and I am excited.

I am hoping to be involved in education charities supporting women in developing countries
