Fab activity/puzzle books for ds 7 going into hospital

Think these are great - kept mine amused for ages.

They come with a little roll of paper which is half the fun.

If the poor chap is going to feeling rough for a fortnight I'd probably be tempted to go for things less challenging than he might normally go for - maybe the usborne football sticker book

Also the usborne puzzle books are good -
puzzle ocean etc

Ooh & it's not a book but we had a bit of fun with a mini etch-a-sketch recently. V cheap from supermarket.

Or Where's Wally? Plus Lego have recently started doing activity books aimed at about that age.

Hope these are of some use - & it all goes well for him.

How about some card games for you to play together? My cousin played Uno for ages with anyone who would play with her when she was in hospital.
