It's been under two years but I've completely forgotten.
Do all newborns make a fuss about straining and poos, or is ds (3 weeks) probably uncomfortable. He sort of grunts, groans and squirms. Different from his high pitched shrieks for wind.
I keep picking him up and cuddling him, or trying to feed the poor guy (imagine someone shoving a sandwich at you whilst you're on the loo 
), but if this is normal and they all do it I'll leave him in peace to get on with it.
