Hi Ladies,

Bit of sad news has just been slipped to me, Lollipop one of the original cloth nappy evangelists and ironically still a very popular choice has today been placed into administration. From what i understand they have just been at M&B Show sold nigh on all their stock and simply havent got the ££s to buy any more.

Not sure about orders going through but may be worth checking with your card provider if you are unable to reach them on their hotline. Webshop seems to have been taken down to prevent further orders.

all in all a sad day thought and i wish the staff affected by this sad news all the best.

According to a lollipop rep on another clothie forum it is now confirmed, they all got told today.

Yes it is true, unfortunately. I first bought nappies from Lollipop nearly 10 years ago for DD1. I started selling Lollipop nappies 7 1/2 years ago. Thye are my favourite nappies and the nicest nappy company to deal with, so this is really really sad news.

I am totally shocked by this too and agree that they are among my favourite cloth nappy manufacturers/retailers in the UK. Sad news indeed. K

Oh no :( I just renewed my membership with them as I'll be needing a few bits and pieces when the new baby comes. Just bought some training pants for DS a week ago!

Oh no I wondered why the website was down. Thats such a shame, I was only talking to my sister about it yesterday, she used to be an agent. She'll be sad to hear that :(

The agent for the company is currently in final negotiations to secure the assets for a new owner. This will mean that all nappies will be available again in the near future and the new owners are confident that lollipop will be re-born bigger and better than ever. They have exciting and ambitious plans for the company, the network and the product range. Watch this space!

Do you know this for sure and how? We saw this on the other site too, but there is no further info. I ask this because we ordered £100.00 worth of stuff from them at the baby show and cannot get hold of them since we have not received our goods.

All Baby Show orders were fulfilled, except for a very few where they had run out of stock. These orders were all refunded, I believe onto the card with which they were paid.

They have definitely been bought by someone new.

I will PM you now.
