I'm a LP so i did think i might have issues, but my ds is so clingy with me i feel i could scream some days.

He does go to nursery 3 days a week but when I take him anywhere, to a friends or play groups or like today we had a family get together and he left my side for all of 3 mins in 3 hours.

please can someone share their tips with me, its driving me mad!!

Aww, he's only a baby Smile
My DD was exactly the same - she's now 13 - I asked her recently if she remembered how she used to never want to leave my side, and she said, yeh, mum, is cos I loved you so much.
Really, he'll grow out of it - and if I had it to do again, I wouldn't have tried so hard to make her less clingly, as all this did was have the opposite affect.

The No-Cry Separation Anxiety Solution by Elizabeth Pantley has some helpful suggestions.

I agree with garcia, I think it's normal. My 14 m.o. won't be left with anyone other than me or DH, and hasn't done since he was about 7 months old. It would be nice for DH & I to be able to do something together without him eventually, but I'm sure it's a phase he'll grow out of.

Think its just a stage, and might be a boy thing. I am must be a saddo because I actually feel a bit flattered and I enjoy it while it lasts Grin
