Back to work guilt.

I'm going back to work after 3 1/2 years.(very nervous)
My Ds's are 3yr and 18 months. I will be working Monday,Thursday,Saturday and every other Tuesday. (the Tuesday will be the only time I can collect from preschool).

I will be working 9.30am - 7.30pm.Leaving the house at 8.20, dropping Ds1 at pre school at 8.30, on to MIL dropping DS2 off then on to work. MIL (and FIL) will have both boys until DH collects between 6/7 pm.

He will take them home bath them, put DS2 to bed,get DS1 ready for bed then I will read him a story and tuck him in when I get home (between 8 - 8.15pm).

DH works Monday to Friday. Leaves the house at 7.30am. He also works on a Wednesday Night and Saturday night til about 4 am, and the occasional Friday night.
So on those Saturdays I would drop off at PILs on way to work and DH will collect at lunch time when he gets up.

I am feeling sooo guilty about it all. Are they spending too much time with my inlaws? Is it too long without me/us? Will they cope?

I was wondering what hours other people work and how they (you) juggle childcare etc?
Am I overthinking it? (PILs are FANTASTIC by the way NO problems at all. MIL and I share the same views on parenting etc)

Gosh, sorry thats so long Blush

I think the only way you can tell is to see how it goes..I think its really nice they are with GP's aside from preschool, its also really good that your DH can do his share.
I work 3 days PT and ds is at preschool or with gp's, on the whole it works really well and no nursery/CM bills!
I do get stressed with the logistics and constantly vow I will be a SAHM but just do not have the nerve to give up!
Good luck, and try not to feel guilty! :)
