Jess has got bad nappy rash again, and the cream we had from docs is all done, so he has gone to chemists and come back with Bepanthen Ointment.

Anyone any experience? Does it work?

Been using sudocreme and it hasnt even scratched the surface!

I'm pretty sure i have used that on Ds and it was good.

expatinscotland · 17/10/2005 18:23

Works a treat! We always keep a tube to hand. Especially good overnight.

sweetkitty · 17/10/2005 18:23

I've used this with DD and I really liked it, it's oily like a barrier cream but I thought it was better than sudocreme.

I've found metanium the be0

st with DD's bum but use with disposbales as it makes an awful mess.

i think this cream is a miracle cream.
its the best thing ever for nappy rash imo.

LIZS · 17/10/2005 19:09

It's fine - included in the Swiss equivalent of the newborn Bounty box !

missycantstop · 17/10/2005 19:17

ellasmum1 · 19/10/2005 08:46

it is fab - this was in our aussie bounty bag....

creepmonkey · 21/10/2005 21:51

Actually, I think a lot of babies are sensitive to Sudocrem, it can make things worse. Drapolene is my current favourite.

expatinscotland · 21/10/2005 21:52

Keep a tube to hand for those times when they get the runs - it's brill for clearing up the rash overnight!

mrspink27 · 21/10/2005 22:12

the weleda nappy cream (in an orange tube!) is FAB! clears things up really quickly and smells nice, and is natural, and has no peanut oil in.

amy2310 · 23/10/2005 13:14

Hi ya again Jessica's mum how are you? My DD suffers from unbelievable nappy rash and I have tried everything and the only thing I have found to be fantastic is Talc. It dries it all out it is brilliant. Every time you change bum put talc all over I would swear by it!!

Oh have you given up that baby yet?? xx
