Have posted on this in Health under 'is circumcision really necessary?' but think I might get more replies under a less political title...
My friend's ds (7) wets the bed, sometimes 3x a night and she has recently been to a doctor who thinks that this is happening because his foreskin is too tight. This gives him constant, mild urinary tract infections which might be causing the bedwetting (and sometimes pant wetting in the day). He has recommended circumcision. I have done some internet research and although the tight foreskin thing is not nice for the boy as he grows (pain, infections etc) I can find nothing that links this condition with bedwetting/ incontinence. Does anyone know anything about this or had a similar diagnosis?
