bambinex teddies - lingering poo smell

I think they sat too long in a wet pail - to my shame - with one holding a poo explosion. I'd rinsed it but - now i have about ten nappies that just.. ugh..

Also, DH has put them through the dryer a few times - could this have 'baked in' the stink?

We usually wash them with soap nuts, I've tried using a 'proper detergent' in case that would work. Does anyone have any tips? Desperate here!

white vinegar in the wash really helped get rid of the cabbage smell mine develpoed after leaving in the bucket too long.
Also found out they were better when not put in a wet pail but rinsed kept in a dry bucket until washing.

hmm, don't know about getting rid of the smell but I keep mine dry in a lidded bucket with a few drops of tea tree oil in the bottom then just throw them in the washing machine. I've been using them for 18 months and no lingering smells here. I also use a scoop of miofresh with each wash too - don't know if that would help?

ooh, I have miofresh - is that ok to use on the microfibre nappies? I was worried in case it was cotton only. Will try that, thanks!

Someone else mentioned vinegar in the rinse. I think I'll try everything, to be honest!
