Newborn twitching?

Hi everyone,

my baby is 4 week's old she was 5 weeks prem.

when she is sleeping (only sometimes) she does these twitching with her hands and feet, this is my third baby and neither of my other 2 did this.

anyone have any ideas?

My preemie dd did this, plus grunting, growling and plenty of thrashing. Was advised it was all totally normal for premature babies but freaked me out at the time! By all means though ask your HV or contact the neonatal team at your hospital if you want their reassurance or for them just to double check her.

Thank you, i have just googles it apperently its normal, its only like irregukar arm jumping and feet. not the sort where they throw there arms in the air when startled though, i think people think i mean that sometimes.

I have an app tommorow so i shall ask then too.
