Normal phase?

My DD is 5 and half months. For a couple of weeks now she has started to scream. Not in pain and she is perfectly happy but more like she thinks she can talk and is constantly emitting VERY LOUD shouting and screams. It doesn't matter how much attention I am paying her at the time or not. It seems worse when I am feeding her (solids - she is quiet when I am bf her). I am a calm person and not much gets to me but this is starting to get to me. I tell her to Shhhh but of course that doesn't work. So, is this normal and when will it stop?

Totally normal! Just trying out her voice. DS did this, it lasted a few months until he was able to begin to make more speech like sounds.
