Trying to keep french up, what do your kids enjoy watching on TV or internet?
We've just watch 'c'est pas sorcier' on youtube, and DS nearly 8 found it hard to follow their explanations on how motors work. 'can we watch something in english intead mum?'.
What are the favourites for you and your DCs.

Would the Canadian "les pieds dans la marge" be any better? Or is that more complicated still?

BTW "C'est pas sorcier" is on TV5 at weekends too.

Would "Le Petit Nicolas" (French) or "Lou" interest them?

Just guessing to be honest - my own daughters are 3 and 0!

But thought I would get the ball rolling.

How about Casimir on DVD if you can find it (I've got it but it was second hand from a shop in Lille)? Or Dorothee on YouTube? 5 Rus Sesame on DVD?

A bit in a hip, my dcs are watching :
c'est pas sorcier (Sorry but they both love it!)
Samsam,
Les Mondes engloutis (DVD)
Albator (DVD)
Yakari
Barbapapa
Les stroumpfs (but not so keen)
les petits einsteins (might be too baby ish for them now)
Tic et tac (Found a DVD here that actually also had the french version)
Mikido (ds who is 7yo likes it but not ds2 who is 5yo)

All of them are on DVD so I can't say whether you will find them on TV, even though quite afew are actually coming from France3.

My next move on that is to have them downloaded in France by friends/relative as it is much cheaper than buying DVDs.
