New Positive Parenting course
NOCN Level 2 Progression award in positive parenting
at Freshbrook Community Centre, Worsley Road, Swindon
Starting 21st February
at The Lawrence Acre Day Room, Lawrence Acre, Marlborough, SN8 1TD
Starting 1st March
This course is aimed at young mums with babies up to the age of 2.
Units include:-
Caring for your child
Developing parenting skills
Personal career preparation
In addition to this the course will develop skills in healthy eating and budgeting. The course aims to encourage young parents to consider their longer term career objectives, focussing on identifying skills and opportunities for development that ensure they are best placed to progress into employment or further education.
