How to set child filters on ipod?

My DS has got an ipod. I have just realised that because he accesses the internet through it, usually using our wifi at home but sometimes from other free spots, that the child filters won't be set as they are on our PC.
Can anyone advise me how to do it, or to help DS to do it?
He's 13 and won't have a problem with having them set to restricted.

An iPod touch? On the main iPod screen where it shows the applications, tap 'Settings', then choose 'General' from the menu. Then 'Restrictions', and then you can choose what you want to allow.

Although unfortunately, I don't think this is really what you're looking for. You're able to disable things like online purchasing or YouTube, for example, but there's nothing to 'filter' internet content iyswim. It's all or nothing. You can choose to disable Safari, but that's as far as it goes. Confused
