Just keep baby safe and warm untill they are ready to leave home? No 'neglect' problems. Life would be simpler, but heavier.

Oh, but could you bear being asked "when is it due?" for the rest of your life?!

And imagine the piles after delivering an 18 year old!

I think the publicity the sun would give them might solve that one!

Me - have decided not to give birth to the thing that is my stomach.

Unfortunately - I am not pregnant so it wasn't an option anyway. But I would look so much slimmer if I could give birth to it!

Lol at last message about giving birth to the belly. I would also look really slim if I could give birth to my belly. What a great idea. would be cheaper than liposuction too!!!

Me.... well not me but the baby has decided it doesnt want to come out! Its too cosy, and to be honest, i havent got the energy for labour right now.... as and when is my motto at the moment but 18yrs sounds just a little TOO much - how about 5 so they can then go straight to school?

sweetkitty · 13/10/2005 08:21

I've decided this child can only be born if I cough and it falls out bringing it's placenta and all the lochia with it (messy I know but at least all over at once).

It's also going to latch on and breastfed beautifully and painlessly from day one and sleep 8pm to 8am from day 1!

(and then sweetkitty woke up from this dream )

Bit like Majorca, when trying to give birth first time and it was hurting more than I could possibly imagine and I knew EVERYONE had lied to me - I remember saying "I just want to go home now" in a pitiful whiny voice. Bizzarely thought that if I got home, it would all go away!!!!

I have recently wondered why i didn't just adopt instead of going through all that pregnancy and birth crap.

an insight which arrived several years and 3 children too late for me, but if i were starting again now.....

Roxswood · 13/10/2005 19:55

I stayed at home to have my baby, and the pain wasn't that bad.. I'd do it ten times to get my baby, in fact I can't wait to do it all again!
