What potty should I buy?

I want to get a potty for DS, who's almost two and starting to take an interest in what he's producing - certainly wants pooey nappies changed straight away. Not intending to start the actual training yet, but thought I should get a potty so he can get used to seeing it around. Problem is, there seem to be so many different ones. Alongside the bog standard there also seem to be ones with wider bases, little chairs, armrests.... Any thoughts on whether the fancy ones are worth investing in or shd I just save my money?

Take him to a shop, and let him choose.

Even if he wants pink with ducks, you buy it. Generally if they like it, then they use it
