My son is 10 years old. For the past 4 months since turning 10 he has been smelling everything that he eats and drinks. Dont know what or how this started though. I have tried ignoring him doing this but he does it everywhere we go. Families houses, school and restaurants. Have tried telling him what he is doing and to stop it but I dont know if he is doing this to gain attention. What can I do? His friends have noticed and are beginning to tease him and when we eat out in a restaurant people sort of look at him and its quite embarrassing. Im sure family have noticed but they havent said anything.
